London Canal Museum
Following his successful Evening in Venice show at The London Canal Museum, Paul returned to participate in their Arts on Ice exhibition.
This time, he explored another canal bound city - a wintry Amsterdam frozen in the grip of snow and ice. The stark images show the sheer white of snow softtly transforming corners of the city.
Mad frenzies of footprints contrast with a handful of lonely steps, each made visible by the simple coating of white. Elsewhere a mysterious square has appeared, the debris of modern life collects against two markers, and patterns previously unseen appear on rooftops and benches.
